About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a motivated Lead Information Security Engineer to join an exciting, fast paced team working on cutting edge encryption, tokenization and key management technologies that are leveraged to protect information companywide.  This role will provide technical leadership, and be an individual contributor, to teams that design, deploy, and operationally maintain cryptographic products and services including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and security appliances. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of cryptographic products in physical, virtual, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience in automating processes including product builds, operational maintenance, and customer integration and onboarding.  This role reports directly to the Senior Manager for the Encryption, Tokenization and Key Management team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standardsDesign, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuityIdentify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternativesCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managersLead a team to achieve objectivesLead computer security incident response activities for highly complex eventsConduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies Review and correlate security logsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of intermediate to advanced level experience with scripting/automation using tools such as: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, VBScript, or JavaScript, UI path, etc.4+ years of Linux or Windows server experience.3+ years of experience with encryption or tokenization and key management technologies.3+ years of experience performing builds, administration and/or support of hardware security modules or security appliance devices.3+ years of Cryptographic protocols & algorithms.Desired Qualifications:Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced staff.Understanding of (format preserving encryption) FPE, tokenization and TDE (transparent data encryption) etc.Experience with DevOps and CI/CD automated build and deployment processes.Advanced scripting skills specifically around log rotation, data collection, error collection and alerting.Experience designing, developing, and implementing synthetic transactions for the monitoring of applications and/or infrastructure.Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Experience with Public cloud engineering.Experience performing technical product assessments, including development of implementation plans, in a large enterprise.Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC or equivalent.Cloud certifications such as AZ-900, MS-900 or equivalent/higher.Knowledge and understanding of implementing infrastructure upgrades, security patches, or version upgrades.Knowledge and understanding of logging and monitoring tools.Experience with and the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced technology and/or information security organization, within a large enterprise environment.Knowledge and understanding of implementing infrastructure upgrades, security patches, version upgrades for systems, appliances and HSM’sProven experience with change and incident management practices in medium to large enterprise environments.Knowledge and understanding of implementing infrastructure upgrades, security patches, version upgrades for systems, appliances and HSM’sExperience with Hardware Security Modules, such as Thales, Entrust, Futurex or Fortanix.Job Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Ability to work onsite in the office in a hybrid model.This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Posting Location: 2600 S Price Rd.– Chandler, AZ 852862222 W Rose Garden Ln. – Phoenix, Arizona 850031525 W.W T Harris Blvd. – Charlotte, North Carolina 28262112646 -
