Brands Risk Management division comprises of 400+ highly qualified individuals spread across the globe.  The Loss Forecasting SVP for the U.S. Branded Cards Risk Management will be working in a best in class, dynamic Risk organization that drives sustainable growth within our Risk Appetite. This dynamic individual will collaborate closely with Risk and Business product leads, Independent Risk, Collections and Finance on critical components (losses & delinquencies) which are instrumental to the health, soundness, and continued growth of a cards business with ~$100Bn+ in loans. This position is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Responsibilities:Responsible for providing risk strategic analytics, information management across Citibank products and reports to senior managementAnalyzes new risk-related guidelines, best practice standards, rules and regulationsLead risk financial forecasting efforts, including designing and maintaining complex credit loss and financial risk forecasting statistical models, conducting cost of credit analyses, and monitoring product trends to identify key areas of risk-opportunityDevelop, test, optimize and implement credit/valuation policies, taking into account of economic and market trends/forecasts grounded in vigorous data analysis, economic research and sound judgement  Manage risk levels for the entire credit/valuation spectrum across multiple products and retail formats consistent with program financial goalsTrack and report on initiatives, performance results, emerging trends and opportunities to senior managementEstablish cross-functional partnerships and networks in order to support the execute cross-functional and business initiativesAppropriately identify and assess risk, including operational/compliance risk exposure, when business decisions are madeDemonstrate particular consideration for the firm's priorities for operational/reputational risk management and safeguarding of Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsQualifications:10+ years relevant experienceShould have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation)Broad understanding of classifiable and delinquency managed credit and operational policies and procedures, including a command of the collateral management processThorough knowledge of financial and risk reporting as well as experience from the business and/or technical area desiredFamiliarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks.
