Direct Support Professional-Floater
How you make a difference as a Direct Support Floater:
- Support individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability in behavioral skills development, basic living skills, socialization skills and integrating them into the community.
- Teach, learn and interact with our persons served to help them reach their potential
- Perform or assist individuals served with personal hygiene and basic domestic duties
This position will "float" between community living and/ or day program settings to provide support to persons served. An ideal candidate will be flexible and have the ability to adapt to different paced environments and care needs.

Pay Rates:
$1000 Hiring Bonus (Full time)
First Shift Weekday: $17.25 per hour
Second Shift Weekday: $18.00 per hour /Second Shift Weekend: $19.00 per hour
Third Shift Weekday: $19.25 per hour/Third Shift Weekend: $20.25 per hour
Schedules Available for the Direct Support Floater role:
Full Time:
Wed-Sa 2nd (W-Fr 2p-11p, Sa 9a-9p)
Su-Wed 2nd (Su 9a-9p, M-W 2p-11p)7/7 shifts work 7 days on and then have 7 days off
Requirements of a Direct Support Professional Floater:
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate
- One year direct care experience serving those with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Valid Driver's License for a minimum of 2 years.
- Pass drug and alcohol screenings
- Pass criminal background checks
- Availability for 2-4 weeks of training M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
- ASL (American Sign Language) preferred.
