Quardev seeks an experienced leader and technology expert to lead a growing community health organization as Chief Information Officer - CIO based in Anacortes, WA. In this executive role, you'll shape the strategic direction and drive the development, implementation, and management of information systems, security, and services. As the CIO, you'll be at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance patient care, streamline operations, and elevate organizational performance, with a special focus on advancing telehealth services and accessibility.

Responsibilities:
•Develop and manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and maximize value.
•Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, operations teams, and IT experts across all departments to achieve organizational and business goals with an unwavering commitment to improving the patient experience.
•Ensure healthcare-specific regulations are met and security standards specific to electronic health information are met or exceeded.
•Improve systemwide contracts with a focus on customer reduction and identifying redundant systems.
•Enhance the development of IT team and organization employees through cross-training to foster a can-do mindset among team members and ensure tasks are managed within timelines, accurately.
•Plan and lead all system upgrades and implementations.
•Produce and present GANT charts and related performance reporting for executive leadership teams and internal team management.
•Lead initiatives to seamlessly integrate healthcare technology and informatics into clinical workflows, optimize delivery, enhance outcomes, and streamline management with a focus on regulatory compliance.
•Empower and motivate others, manage conflict, foster an environment of excellence, and lay a foundation of mutual respect and trust across teams and leaders.
•Ensure technology resources meet the organization’s short and long-term needs.
•Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and performance of technology infrastructure and systems.
•Lead the development and implementation of the overall technology roadmap with a focus on alignment with organization goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
•5+ years of experience in healthcare IT leadership roles with a proven track record of driving cultural and technology transformation, innovation, and EHR system implementation.
•In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices including HIPAA, HITECH, and meaningful use requirements.
•Proven expertise in IT Infrastructure, EHR Systems (Meditech Expanse), cloud migrations and systems (AWS, Azure), and emerging technologies relevant to healthcare delivery.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, influence, and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
•Able to consistently demonstrate sound strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable business value and improving patient outcomes through technology-enabled solutions.

Note: This a hybrid role, based in Anacortes, WA, with three to four days on-site weekly.
