Speech Language Pathologist (Middle School)

With the aim of expanding school-based therapy in the Seattle area, AnthroMed Education is forming partnerships with schools to enhance their speech and language services. It is critical that our Speech-Language Pathologists have access to the right resources at all times, and we understand the impact and importance of tailored professional development, 1:1 support, and continuous professional development.

We are currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team to support middle school students in our partnering schools!

Location: Near Auburn, WA

Dates: 2023-24 school year.

Job Duties:

  • Work alongside the other Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services/therapies to students within a school-based setting
  • Multitasking while providing high-quality, accurate reports
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff, parents, and students
  • Develop, follow, and assess students regarding their Individualized Education Plans (IEP) 
  • Work in collaboration with other members of the special education team, teachers, and paraprofessionals to problem-solve and meet the needs of each student
  • Support students in gaining skills including but not limited to articulation, language, fluency, and AAC systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required or be eligible to obtain one; 
  • State license issued from the Health Care Authority; 
  • Master degree in speech pathology required.
