Right at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides to provide companion and personal cares to our clients in Waterloo, Independence, Tripoli, Hazelton, and surrounding areas. Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation, and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful. We are looking for a part-time Home Health Aide with the availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends in Independence and Hazleton.

Requirements of a Part time Caregiver for Independence

Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle with the ability to travel within our service area
Proof of Car Insurance
Pass Background Check
Ability to be reliable and dependable
Desire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes

Responsibilities of a Part time Caregiver for Independence

Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfers
Assist with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning
Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols
Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
Provide transportation as needed
