Manufacturing Associate (Full Time position plus benefits)

Calling all early birds and night owl Production Operator Autmotive lovers! Bridgestone Metalpha USA is partnering with PeopleLift as we expand our hiring needs. We are seeking motivated A and B shift Production Operators to assist in production of steel cord.

We offer A and B shift opportunities, overtime available!

Shifts: Must be available to work any shift for the training period then a set schedule is provided!

2-2-3 schedule

A 6:30AM-7:00PM

B 6:30PM-7:00AM ($1.75 differential)

*Must be available to work OT as needed

Pay: $19/hr. + shift differential

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ability to use critical thinking, good judgement, and prioritization to complete daily tasks
• Operating a variety of wire winding and threading machines
• Feeding machines with wire
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read, write and comprehend work instructions and other pertinent documents
• Demonstrated perseverance and dedication
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Prepares documentation to record production quantities and other relevant information
• Uses hand tools, including wire cutters, pliers, and other tools necessary to successfully perform the job
• Maintains equipment, machinery, work area and tools in a clean and orderly fashion
• Use of PPE (Metatarsal Steel shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves)

· Maintains safe environment and a clean and orderly workplace per 3S standards.

· Responsible for performing regular quality checks as per SOP.

· While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear

Requirements:

• Must pass a required pre-employment screening and physical and assessment test
• Ability to use critical thinking, good judgement, and prioritization to complete daily tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read, write and comprehend work instructions and other pertinent documents
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear steel toe shoes.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• 1-2 years of manufacturing+ related experience or training
