Press Brake Operator

Are you an experienced and skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talents? Look no further! Platinum Recruiting is hiring for a reputable and thriving company.  First Shift opportunity Monday through Thursday 7:00AM-3:30PM.  Starting Pay $19-24 p/hour DOE !

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Use of critical measuring equipment. (Comb. Squares, Protractor’s, Angle Finders, Measuring Tape etc.)
•  Use of Jib Cranes, Overhead Cranes and Forklift’s to load or unload material.
•  Die Set-up/ Changeover
•  Interpreting of Part Print.
•  Proper adjustments of presses and dies.
•  Daily housekeeping of assigned area.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience setting dies and operating stamping or brake presses required. 
• Previous experience moving large heavy parts with a PIT and Overhead Cranes.
• High School Diploma/GED 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

•  Regular reaching with arms extended.
•  Bending to pick up and place parts on the floor.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs Pulling suspended loads by hand during use of jib crane.
• Regular twisting and turning at the waste. Positioning heavy parts in the press by hand.1
