As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in leading our nursing team, promoting a culture of inclusivity, and driving excellence in resident care. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through your leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, and families, promoting open communication and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of staff education and training programs.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing talent.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of best practices in nursing care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations.
