Maintenance Mechanic

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is hiring for Maintenance Mechanics on ALL SHIFTS!

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Perform minor electrical maintenance using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance, (replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging or drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses and similar devices, etc.)
• Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Respond to work order requests in a timely manner
• Perform minor to major electrical maintenance including: 110v single phase up to 480-volt 3 phase

SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm
• 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday from 11pm-7:30am

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to push up to 75 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel & climb
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with PVC, CPUC, and/or black steel pipe is a MUST
• Previous experience in machine maintenance, electrical, or plumbing required
