Bartender

Mohican will be REOPENING MAY 16TH!  We have been undergoing extensive renovations and are looking to hire for our Summer season.  Training will be given before opening. 

Job Summary:

The Bartender at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio will be responsible for providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests at our on-site restaurant and bar. This is a full-time or part time, individual contributor role within the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for mixology and be able to provide a high level of customer service to guests. This position offers a competitive salary of $10 per hour, paid biweekly plus tips.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience at the bar
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks                                                                                                     - Responsible for making pizzas
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Engage with guests, take orders, and make recommendations based on knowledge of menu items and personal preferences
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate service to guests
- Assist with stocking and inventory of bar supplies
- Provide exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of mixology and experience creating a variety of cocktails
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must have or be able to obtain a state-issued alcohol server permit
