Cosmetic Physician Partners has established a chain of medical aesthetic clinics throughout the United States. We are currently seeking a Clinical Assistant for a highly recognized and sought-after MedSpa located in Des Moines, IA, Coachlight Clinic & Spa. This clinic is led by one of the top-ranked Plastic Surgeon Providers in the United States and specializes in a variety of cosmetic treatments including Botox, Juvéderm, SkinMedica, CoolSculpting, Sciton laser, anti-aging treatments, and more. Alastin Skincare products are also available at the clinic.

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide personal attention to clients in escorting them to the clinic rooms.
  • Assist with client Visia and treatment images
  • Apply/remove topical numbing cream and completely prepare the client for treatment
  • Follow SOP for Clinical Assistant as documented
  • Verify client medical history is complete and updated. Provide patients with applicable consent forms.
  • Prepare clinic rooms with proper equipment daily
  • Replenish supplies in clinic rooms daily
  • Replenish towels, linens, and blankets as necessary
  • Take all dirty linens to laundry room
  • Assist clients with special requests and provide hospitality services as directed, such as water, tea service, etc
  • Keep clinic rooms immaculate
  • Use Nextech to prepare the room depending on the type of treatment being done.
  • Use Nextech to communicate any pertinent information regarding the client. Update “Notes” or create an “EMR” depending on the information being shared.
  • Provide open procedures and close procedures for efficient start of the next day and end of the current day.
  • Develop the ability to work without constant direction
  • Stay current on all department information and become well-versed and trained in its application
  • Promote positive client relations for all clients by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service
  • Maintain current knowledge of all skin clinic and spa programs and company information
  • Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the clinic areas
  • Attend regular department meetings if needed
  • Report for scheduled shifts promptly and be prepared for work
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the clinic
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments
  • Work diligently to support Coachlight Skin Clinic & Spa hospitality and team philosophy throughout the facility.
  • Alert Manager or provider to potential problems or concerns
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies including HIPAA
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Coachlight Skin Clinic & Spa proprietary information
  • Protect the privacy of all clients and handle with discretion any information they may provide to the company, yourself or anything you have overheard
  • Resolve client complaints in a manner which promotes positive client relations
  • Maintain accurate facility information through daily use of email and other forms of communication

Qualifications: 
  • Current aesthetician
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience working in service-related field, preferably in a client/customer direct business or in sales.
  • Excellent personal appearance, communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must
  • The ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the client
