Automotive Parts Assitant

Job Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Parts Assistant to join our team at Mike Miller Hyundai in Peoria, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support for retail sales and services operations within the auto parts industry. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service while handling inquiries, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers both in person and by phone with selections of parts
• Ascertain customer needs and provide information about products and services
• Stock merchandise on shelves, display cases, and/or counters in an organized and appealing manner
• Participate in inventories and order and stock new items as necessary
• Provide superior customer service by handling customer inquiries and complaints
• Reach and maintain store goals
• Ensure goods are priced accurately
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in retail, automotive, and/or customer service industries
• Proven track record of superior customer service
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
