Job Summary
- As a Mascot, you will be responsible for bringing to life the character and spirit of our organization or team by portraying our beloved Mascot, GUNTHER. Your role is vital in creating a memorable and entertaining experience for potential customers, engaging with audiences of all ages, and enhancing the overall fan engagement.
- Assume the persona of Gunther and convey emotions, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Mascots will also have the opportunity to execute various guerrilla marketing tactics to attract customers around the area.
- Maintain the Mascot costume, ensuring it remains in good condition and is clean and safe for each performance.
- Be punctual and prepared for all activities.
- This position will be dynamic and require you to wear different hats related to marketing and sales. We encourage creativity, try to be flexible and create a positive workspace, and reward hard work. We are excited to find the right person who can help us grow.
Responsibilities
- Mascot Events
- Park & Waves - park company vehicle in busy area and wear Gunther mascot costume and wave at passersby
- Attend events and represent the company (parades, events, home shows, etc)
- Hand out marketing materials
- Guerrilla Marketing
- Placing lawn signs and door hangers
Qualifications
Mosquito Hunters is looking for enthusiastic, dependable self-starters with an interest in marketing. No previous mascot or marketing experience is required, but a friendly demeanor, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn are musts.
- Strong non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey emotions and enthusiasm through physical gestures and expressions.
- A friendly and engaging personality, with the ability to interact positively with potential customers and represent the organization professionally.
