As a Minot Automotive Company Technician Apprentice, you receive PAID training in areas such as fundamentals of electrical, electronic control systems, engine repair, automatic transmission, driveline, chassis, electrical and body systems, A/C, heating and diesel.

1. Start off learning vehicle systems through proprietary dealer training program.  Mentor side by side with highly skilled technicians on the job.

2. Move through the ranks, mentoring side by side with top technicians.  Learn how to complete digital multi point inspections, check and adjust fluids, look up service procedures, perform underbody inspections, recommend maintenance items, create estimates for service work and perform basic factory required maintenance.  Variety! Work on a variety of vehicles including all makes and models, gas, hybrid, electric and diesel. Get ready for something different every day!

Level one you'll be able to perform basic recalls on many dealer vehicles.

Level two explore your passion - transmission - drivability - electrical - diesel.

Level three hone your skills - become proficient in all areas, fill your toolbox, fix anything that rolls into your stall.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-point inspection
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Recommends services based on findings from a thorough inspection
• Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Inspect and adjust fluid levels
• Check and adjust air pressure of tires
• Complete pre-delivery quality check
• Oil change
• Tire rotation
• Fuel filter replacement
• Wiper Blade replacement
• Air filter removal and replacement
• Reports vehicle defects or malfunctions to Advisor.
• Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Other tasks as assigned.
