Facility and Equipment Maintenance

Part time, hands on maintenance handy person with mechanical repairs on a variety of fitness equipment for optimal upkeep and safety.

• Shifts will be shared between traveling to two fitness centers located in East Providence and Warwick, RI.
• Assignments and priorities will vary with immediate demands, reoccurring weekly responsibilities and other tasks being scheduled around delivery of parts from manufacturers.
• Must have knowledge to proactively identify and accurately diagnose issues to ensure proper repairs with respect to manufactures warrantees and historical information available on past repairs.
• Provide fitness and other facility equipment mechanical tune ups, repairs and replacement of parts, motors and more to keep fitness equipment running smoothly and safely.
• Handy person skills including mowing lawn, edging grass, seasonal snow/ice removal, light painting, tiling, carpeting, plumbing adhering to safety protocols.
• Flexibility and willingness to be on call in case of emergencies to return to the property or to travel to an affiliate center to assist in your areas of expertise.
• CPR/AED certification maintained.

Compensation and hours to be determined.
Schedule, flexible up to 20 hours per week estimated.
