Service Advisor

Position Summary:

We need more than an RV Service Advisor; we need an outstanding communicator with a professional appearance and a strong work ethic, someone who is equally comfortable greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between customers and the service technicians. Essential Functions:

• Answer incoming calls and voicemails to ascertain need for repairs and services by actively listening to customer’s description of symptoms, and clarifying description of problems
• Prepare for incoming appointments by having tags and recalls ready, reviewing work order history, reviewing the estimate and flat rating jobs, determine who is paying the bills, and have maintenance and accessory menus prepared.
• Greet service department customers on day of appointment and preform an active check in of vehicle
• Upsell recommended/additional services
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress throughout the process
• Coordinate with customers the pick up of their vehicle upon completion and secure payment
• Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers during an active pick up
• Handle customer concerns and complaints

Education, Experience and Work Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required
• At least three (3) years of experience in a service-related position is highly preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proven and verifiable track record of success in sales and customer satisfaction
• General knowledge of RVs is helpful
• Experience in a sales or parts position is a plus.
• Must be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Highly organized with superior time management and prioritization skills
• Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record
