Position: Pipe Welder
Rate of Pay: UP TO $29.00 per hour
Description: Performs layout, fabrication, installation, testing and repair of pipe systems. Fits pipe and properly prepares joints for welding to meet the specific requirements of the system on which work is being done.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years shipyard experience
· Must know Ship terminology
· Must read blue prints
· Must be able to pass 6G pipe test with 6010 “stick”
- Flux Core Fill and Cap
- TIG – must be good with CuNi AND Aluminum
· Must pass drug test and E-Verify
· Must be able to work all shifts
