Job Description: Director of Human Resources in the Hospitality Industry


Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for the hospitality industry? We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team and lead our HR department in providing exceptional support and strategic guidance to our organization.


As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by overseeing all aspects of human resources management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our company's goals and values.



Salary $100K - $120K

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for executive and management positions within the hospitality industry.
  • Develop and manage effective onboarding and training programs to ensure the successful integration of new hires.
  • Oversee performance management processes and guide and support managers in setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
