Data Analyst Intern

American Plastics, a private equity-backed leading injection molded plastics manufacturer specializing in Retail Storage, Janitorial, Food Service and Cleaning products is looking for a Data Analyst Intern for our Innovation Center. This role can be located in Findlay, Tiffin, Sycamore, OH.

This is not a summer internship; we are looking for an intern that we can work around their school schedule.

This candidate must live in Tiffin, Sycamore or Findlay, OH.

·Assist in the creation of monthly sales forecast templates that utilize sales, inventory, and customer forecast data

·Assist in the creation of monthly production review templates that utilize sales, inventory, and production data

·Assist in the product costing process by validating internal Bills of Material and preparing product cost quotes

·Address various data requests from sales & operations teams

·Explore and form a basic understanding of Trans4m ERP system, SQL, and Microsoft Power BI

·Become a back-up resource to provide support for all things S&OP related

·Complete ad-hoc data analysis projects upon request

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel o Knowledge of common functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables

· Detail oriented

· Strong analytical skills ·

· Strong communication skills in both in-person and online settings

· Highly motivated and independent

Availability/Status Required:

·20-30 hours per week

·Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in one of the following fields: data analytics, computer science, finance, accounting, or business administration
