Summary: AtWork is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our direct-care team. This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents while adhering to all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities. Pay: $18-30+/h (varies depending on relevant experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Full-time
Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct-Hire

Essential Job Functions
oAssist in planning resident care by following physician orders
oImplement resident care based on physician orders
oEvaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders
oAdminister medication, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents
oReceive and transcribe orders from attending physicians
oMonitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary
oRespond to all emergencies
oSchedule doctor s appointments and coordinate transportation for the residents, including scheduling labs and transcribing lab results
oSupervise CNA's and LPN s as Charge Nurse ensure they are providing resident care based on physician orders and defined care plans
Requirements & Qualifications:
oMust be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
oMust be CPR Certified
oOne year of long-term care experience desirable; Med-Surg, Home Health experience helpful
oExperience working with the elderly, physically, or developmentally disabled adults preferred
oWill train on-the-job in lieu of the above experience
Licenses & Certifications
oRequired: LPN, CPR Certified
oPreferred: RN
oCOVID-19 Vaccination: Preferred
