Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate

Department Name: Accounting

Reports to (title): Controller

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reviewing and processing all vendor invoices and purchase orders for payment and work with Purchasing department to reconcile differences
  • Maintaining weekly check-run
  • Processing cash applications (credit cards, checks, EFT's, wires and cash) and accurately applying to customers’ accounts
  • Conducting investigations of skipped/short paid invoices
  • Communicating with customers to request and arrange payments
  • Setting up new accounts/processing terms - maintaining accounts with accurate information
  • Assisting Controller and/or Management with special projects
  • If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
  • Participate in monitoring of all backups, conducting regular checks for reliability, changing media, and verifying accuracy.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.
  • Create, manage and modify and user credential across multiple platforms including [Active Directory, CRM, ERP, etc.…]
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy (detail oriented) and consistency
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
  • Must possess good time-management and effective decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • MAS Software and Acumatica knowledge highly desirable
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish helpful
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
