The Estimator Role
We are looking for an individual experienced in low-voltage systems that maintains a strong work ethic combined with the ability to multi-task. The Estimator would be completing pricing and designs of low-voltage systems for enterprise environments.
Estimator Responsibilities
Utilize a Statement of Work to put together an estimate of hours, resources, options, and pricing for customer submittals
Correspond with the customer as needed pre and post bid to ensure success, these communications must be written, verbal, and most importantly, timely
Complete all required documentation for the Salesperson to submit the proposal as well as information for recordkeeping
Visit customer locations from time to time to ensure that we have all environmental knowledge of what we are bidding
Perform installations on site as needed to ensure skill set is up to date at all times
Role is based out of Metro Detroit
Who we're looking for
Someone who is technically minded and has 3+ years of experience installing low-voltage systems and cabling is preferred, otherwise, a minimum of 1-year experience estimating low-voltage and/or electrical projects is required
Someone who is experienced with network infrastructure/cabling and audio/video
Someone who already has experience quoting low-voltage and/or electrical projects
High School degree required
