Summary

We are looking for employee’s that offer a positive attitude to support our culture, an innovative thinker to help better our processes, and a professional that will interact with customers in a positive manner. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be involved in all aspects of underground, rough, finish, and inspection of simple to complex plumbing systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reading, understands, and applies plumbing codes
  • Reads, understands, and utilizes specifications, submittals, and blue prints
  • Operate and maintains powered industrial equipment and hand tools
  • Applies safety in the work environment and has knowledge of implementing policies
  • Be capable of working with a wide range of piping systems and materials used in the plumbing industry. Examples include, but are not limited to; Multiple types of PVC, ABS, CPVC, Copper, cast iron, steel and stainless. Be proficient with various methods of joining pipe. Examples include, but are not limited to; glues and primers, soldering, brazing, Pro-Press, threaded and Victaulic
  • Organizes, plans and prioritizes work environment
  • Shows professionalism when working around or directly with the public and/or customers
  • Other duties as assigned*

Education and Experiences

Starting hourly rate based off education and experience.

  • Preferred Education – High School diploma, completion of or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program, OSHA 30 or 10, and ability to obtain med gas certification.
  • Preferred Experience – 3+ years in commercial construction.
  • Working knowledge and/or willingness to learn the use of computers, tablets, and smart phones. Basic skills in Microsoft products is helpful.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Performing the essential functions of this job will require, but are not limited to, the ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction in adverse weather conditions. Work may be performed in ditches and elevated work platforms. Vision abilities required to perform this job included close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to wear approved eye protection. The person must have the ability to hear bells, alarms, whistles etc. Performing this job requires the use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools and/or controls. You will be required to sit, walk, talk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The individual will be exposed to loud machinery or equipment, fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. This employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and without assistance.


Candidates for this position must possess a valid driver license and reliable means of transportation. A 40-hour work week is standard and overtime, when needed, is expected. With prior notification, applicants must be willing to work flexible hours that may include night and weekend work. Unless previous arrangements have been made with management.
