Position Summary
Provides protection for personnel and property in the designated area of responsibility.
Provides protective service to employees, patients, physicians, and visitors including security escorts. Provides surveillance of employees going to and from parking areas during shift change. Secures buildings. Unlocks/locks offices. Patrols assigned areas on foot. Assists nursing and medical staff with difficult patients or visitors. Assists medical staff with ensuring patient safety. Responds to emergency alarms, code blues, and other calls for emergency assistance. Enforces hospital policies. Prepares routine activity reports and preliminary Investigative Reports. Assists, with the city, state, and federal law agencies as required.

Qualifications:
Required: High school graduate or equivalent
Required: Active Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) in good standing with their department, Former LEO who left their department in good standing.

Certifications:
Required: License and certifications required based on state laws
