Staffmark is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shipping Associate in Mooresville, NC. Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $18/hr.


As a Shipping Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely processing of orders, accurate inventory management, and loading of finished goods onto the appropriate transport carriers. Working under the guidance of the Security Division Sales team, you will closely collaborate with various departments including Sales, Value Stream Managers, Plant Supervisors, and the Shipping Manager to ensure prompt order fulfillment and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process package shipments, manage inventory, and load finished goods onto trucks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a safe transportation route and prioritize pedestrian safety within the workplace.
  • Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the workplace at all times.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the role in supporting the Food Safety Management System and awareness of food safety hazards.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferred high school diploma and forklift experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete a Forklift Certification course within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Commitment to working safely with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service skills and adaptability to handle last-minute changes.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with Shipping, Sales, and Manufacturing departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office and Shields IMS program, along with inventory management capabilities and reliable transportation.
