Overview

SRI International is seeking a Procurement Project Specialist to join our dynamic team of contract professionals.

As part of SRI's Contracts team, you will have the opportunity, as a Procurement Project Specialist to utilize your experience to support SRI's corporate functions.

This position is Fully Remote.

Responsibilities

Vendor Maintenance

  • Analyze vendor master new & change requests for completeness.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting vendor request data that will lead to errors in tax reporting, payment, small business reporting, etc.
  • Run and analyze vendor data report to determine clean up required.
  • Review/Analyze daily vendor exception reporting for corrections & compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of vendor information

Purchase Card

  • Serve as point of contact for purchase cardholders, offering guidance, assistance and training on card usage, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve inquiries, issues, and disputes promptly
  • Monitors for potential fraud by utilizing reports and contacting cardholders.
  • Perform tasks for new card holder setup.
  • Review Maintain MCC Codes & Groups including requests to card provider.
  • Ensure compliance with policies & regulations

Special Projects

  • Part of team to continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and training materials
  • Opportunities arise based on organizational needs and priorities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years procurement, vendor management and/or AP experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Costpoint, Ariba (a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

The salary range is: $59,440.00-$88,420.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
