OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
- The accounting specialist will compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Verify and post details of business transactions, such as AR and AP
- Reconcile bank statements
- Calculate their sales and use tax
- Run reports in their internal system
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST ROLE
- General Accounting, AP or AR experience
- Prior experience in QuickBooks is a plus
