Job Description:

As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in the Lacey, WA area. This contract position provides an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Washington state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
