About Us: Soliant Health, in partnership with an LTC Pharmacy in Sulphur Springs, TX, is seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist for a temporary to permanent contract position. We are mitted to providing exceptional staffing solutions and rewarding opportunities to pharmacy professionals.

Position Details:

• Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, including dosage, route of administration, potential drug interactions, and special geriatric considerations.
  • Procure and maintain all required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct audits of automated dispensing machines to ensure accuracy of filled medications.
  • Provide clinical expertise by responding professionally to medication-related questions.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with instructing, directing, and overseeing pharmacy technicians and staff.
  • Follow current guidelines for preparing all pounds, including I.V. therapy.
  • Ensure pliance with internal controls and state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in the development and successful implementation of improvement plans as indicated by management.

• Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License
  • Preferred: Long-term-care and FrameworkLTC software experience
