We are seeking a highly skilled and detailed-oriented person to join our Operations team. Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our systems availability and functionality through expert management of cloud infrastructure, incident response, change management, release management, and system monitoring. This role is dynamic, requiring a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the application functions effectively and supports broader business functions.

Key Activities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Proficient in utilizing tools such as cloud watch and Grafana to monitor, optimize, and maintain cloud-based systems.

  • Incident Management: Proven ability to coordinate, research, and resolve incidents promptly, ensuring minimal impact on operations.

  • Change and Release Management: Expertise in overseeing and implementing changes to the infrastructure while managing releases seamlessly. Coordinate release schedules and ensure proper testing procedures are followed.

  • System Maintenance and Optimization: Oversee the day-to-day operations, perform system checkouts after system maintenance.

  • Responsible for the evening processing each day through completion. Hours may vary to support business needs, anticipated daily schedule is 12:00pm-8:00pm CT.

  • Extensive on call rotation/responsibilities. May require late nights, early mornings, and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Associate's degree in information technology or a closely related field from a technical/vocational school, an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

  • Intermediate understanding of subject.

  • Performs most work independently with general supervision and direction. May consult with management or more senior staff in decision making.

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

  • Comfortable tracking down resources and leading meetings.

  • Screening Requirements: United States citizenship is required for this position. This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while preforming the job.
