Accounts Payable Lead

SRS Distribution, Inc is hiring an Accounts Payable Lead, we grow steadily, and each new branch brings more invoices and volume our way. Objectives of this Role

• Effective AP inbox management
• Provide support to the team and Supervisor
• Ensuring timely and accurate payments of all invoices
• Support payment reconciliations and review
• Provide transactional reviews and guidance to the Accounts Payable team
• Provide daily stats to the Supervisor for oversight of SLA requirements
• Assist/address with questions internally and externally
• Communicate with vendors as needed to resolve any issues that arise
• Oversight of vendor statement reconciliations
• Support Company- wide process changes as needed
• Suggest best practices to the team, internal and external customers
• Provide backup for all aspects of Accounts Payable positions when needed
• Work with the outsourced Accounts Payable team, to assist and resolve any issues
• Training of all new and existing employees on all processes performed by department

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Payables or similar function
• Associate's/Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
• Demonstrate ability to identify process improvements
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong work ethic be professional and reliable
• High attention-to-detail is a must
• Highly accountable
• Ability to work effectively with other teams and all levels of the organization
