Machine Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Penmac Staffing is currently seeking a 3rd shift DIE CASTING to fill an opening with ABB located in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidates should have stable work history that demonstrates reliability. In lieu of work history will consider vocational/ technical high school and college courses and military service 

SHIFT INFORMATION  

TRAINING (4 Weeks) - 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm)   

3rd shift – 10:30pm-6:30am

Requirements of the Machine Operator DIE CASTING: 

1. Must be able to lift up to 50lb throughout duration of shift 

2. HS Diploma/GED  

3. Ability to use computers to look up parts and workorders 

4. Good Attendance and punctuality is a must  

5. Skills that would be a plus -industrial experience, machine operating experience  

6. Willing to submit to a Background check / drug test 

7. Training is completed on 1st shift up to 4 weeks. 

8. Must be able to work any shift  

9. Position will be working in HOT CLIMATE up to 120 degrees

1. Starting pay $15.00/hr

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator DIE CASTING 

1. TRAINING (4 Weeks) - 1st shift 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  with ability to work OT as required 

2. Place Safety in workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines alone with reporting safety issues.   

3. Communicate with other operators or supervisors to discuss any part or equipment defects. Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.  

4. Requires basic computer skills and ability to use/learn Shop Floor Display System.  

5. Good Housekeeping.
