AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network to be accessible by standard smartphones. Called SpaceMobile, this ultra-powerful network is being designed to provide connectivity at 4G/5G speeds everywhere on the planet – on land, at sea and in flight.

Summary:

As a member of the ATE testing team, you will be responsible for the maintain and build of automated tests for innovative device. You will also contribute to defining & implementing test strategy and manufacturing test plan for new products to ensure product functionality is tested appropriately in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:​

  • Maintain and support ATE test stations and fixtures.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams during automation station (ATE) design, development and bring-up to understand ATE performance and test metrics with the goal of transitioning to a factory environment.
  • Support and improve ongoing production test sequences or scripts for engineering deviations, yield improvement and cycle time reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sc degree in Electrical Engineering / Practical Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience working in a lab environment.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, such as system functionality, root-cause of product issues regardless of source (HW, SW or System).
  • Writing work procedure, debug procedure, testing instructions for ATE stations up to board/system level and other necessary documents.
  • U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Python.
