Job Description: We're in search of a motivated individual with a strong background in automation and CNC machining to join us as a CNC Application Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various automated systems, with a primary emphasis on CNC machines. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and automated systems.

• Oversee the upkeep and resolution of issues with conventional CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal mills and lathes.

• Execute setups and adjustments as necessary.

• Address and rectify issues with machine functions and program edits at machine controls.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement CNC system solutions.

• Document and update documentation for CNC systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols for CNC machines and all manufacturing processes.

• Manage projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Communicate with tech support help desks and equipment suppliers as needed.

• Provide training and support to Team Leads and machine operators to enhance manufacturing safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of CNC machining and tooling maintenance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and similar systems.

• Experience in CNC applications, with preference given to those with CNC machining experience.

• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new CNC and Robotic technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of CNC programming languages.

• Experience in CNC system setup, testing, and debugging.

• Familiarity with FANUC CNC programming.

• Understanding of control systems and sensor technology.
