Job Description
MBS is hiring a Machinist Engineer for a GREAT customer of ours in Greendale, OH. This company has lots of advancement opportunity. This is a direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program, set up, and operate Manual and Prototrak Mills, lathes, and machining centers.
  • Utilize typical machine shop equipment including sanders, drill presses, saws, etc., for fabricating parts intended for experimental or production applications.
  • Adjust tools and machine components, position workpieces, set controls, and verify machine accuracy, material properties, and shop practices.
  • Utilize hand tools, precision gauges, and measuring instruments effectively.
  • Read and understand blueprints proficiently, with specific experience in GE prints being advantageous, along with basic material specifications.
  • Experience with Pro E, UGS, NX, and Solidworks, or willingness to undergo training as required.
  • Ability to perform basic shop math.
  • Actively participate in meetings with internal and client personnel during the development of new designs and prototype concepts.
  • Foster effective working relationships with internal staff and technical resources.
  • Apply innovative approaches as appropriate in project execution.
  • Willingly coach and mentor others.
  • Engage in customer relationship building, job preparation, and quoting.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Five or more years of machining experience, preferably in concept development.
  • Previous experience working with silicones, epoxies, and polyurethane materials is desirable.
  • Ideally, experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with a lean, fast-paced work environment with a strong sense of urgency is preferred.
