The Vomela Transportation Group has an exciting opportunity for a Finishing Operator to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating and maintaining finishing equipment (CNC Router, Clamshell diecutter and Guillotine cutter) on first shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance of equipment
  • Finishing digital and/or screen printed jobs
  • Operating a diecutter
  • Operating a router table
  • Operating a guillotine cutter
  • Cut, weed and applying app tape to vinyl
  • Maintain clean working environment and practice safe working habits

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 months experience running machines
  • The ability to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines while working under minimal supervision
  • The ability to efficiently manage time and workload, which includes planning, prioritizing, organizing and following through on a variety of tasks
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • The ability to take initiative and learn/apply techniques and procedures
  • The ability to work in a team
