Maintenance Technician

LR Dynamics is a major supplier of commercial hoisting and safety products for the basketball gymnasium industry. The LR Dynamics journey began in 1949 and is on an exciting path of growth, diversification, and improvement.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and the building. This role will utilize Jira to perform work, record work history, identify parts usage, identify warranties) in a timely and effective manner. The Maintenance Professional will play a critical role in assisting LR Dynamics in developing a culture of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance. 

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineering teammates and other stakeholders to improve machine uptime and capabilities
• Take ownership of his or her’s expectations
• Understands the sense of urgency when needed
• Establish a P/M system by documenting key processes 
  
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by performing general housekeeping, complying to GMP, SQF, OSHA and safety standards
• Follow all established Maintenance practices in regards to SAP, Preventative Maintenance Paperwork, Parts Usage and Ordering
• Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and systems (Hydraulic, Electrical, CNC, PLC, Pneumatic, Plumbing, Tooling/Die Repairs Etc…)
• Troubleshoot problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Have experience with repairing CNC Machines and the ability to determine when to contact outside services and being able to assist as needed
• Committed to continuously improving and making area’s better through 5S
