Store Assistant (PT)

Store Assistants are customer service pros that do a little bit of everything. You might be a good fit for this position if you have previous grocery or retail experience, and enjoy variety in your daily tasks and diving into new learning experiences. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must. Training provided for all specialized tasks.

Job Summary: Store Assistants are cross trained to provide dynamic support in clerk roles throughout the Co-op. Duties might include cashiering, stocking, facing, receiving, cleaning and sanitizing, food prep, shoveling snow, and packaging bulk products. Store Assistants have a global view of the store and are able to jump in where needed to support the team as a whole. Depending on store needs, you will be scheduled to work either full or partial shifts in specific departments, or open shifts supporting various departments throughout the day. As part of the Store Assistant team, you'll be expected to reach proficiency in advanced processes as trained, communicate effectively, and perform miscellaneous tasks as directed. This not a supervisory position.

This is a part time position with potential to grow. Starting wage $15.75, with experience considered. This position requires regularly working one weekend day.
