We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Finance to lead our finance department, overseeing the Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Operations teams. This role is critical to our company's financial health and operational efficiency, requiring a visionary leader with a deep understanding of finance and a knack for optimizing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial management and operational excellence, with the ability to drive financial planning, manage financial risks, and ensure the smooth operation of our logistics, customer experience, and returns processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Oversight and Strategic Planning

- Lead the Accounting and FP&A teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to inform strategic decision-making.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that improve financial discipline and accountability across the company.

- Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for cost reduction.

Operational Management

- Oversee the Operations team, including Returns, Customer Experience (CX), and Logistics, to ensure operational efficiency and excellence.

- Implement strategies to streamline operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve the returns process.

- Work closely with other departments to align financial and operational goals, facilitating cross-functional initiatives that drive company-wide improvements.

Leadership and Team Development

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Promote collaboration and communication within and across teams, ensuring that financial and operational strategies are clearly understood and effectively executed.

- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and operational performance.

Requirements

Technical Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing finance and operational teams.

- Experience at at top consulting firm is also OK.

- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting; experience with financial software and accounting systems.

- Proficiency in managing logistics, customer experience, and returns processes, with a track record of optimizing operational efficiency.
