Office Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Andover, MN is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Mike Orn - State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• People-oriented
• Organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Ability to conduct interviews in the office and in customer's home or business
• Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
