The Role

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting various aspects of Supply Chain, including but not limited to inventory management, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. This role is on-site preferred, remote considered.

We are seeking a highly motivated and agile individual who has the ability to move at a fast pace and takes initiative with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has the ability to take on a variety of responsibilities to drive effective cost management across multiple facets of the Cometeer Supply Chain.

The successful candidate must have an understanding of manufacturing operations and the challenges faced by the supply chain in this industry. They will have a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with employees and external partners at all levels of the organization.


This role offers hybrid work flexibility with a minimum requirement to work on-site, in our Gloucester HQ, 2-3 days per week. You must be authorized to work in the United States and Cometeer does not offer sponsorship at this time.

What you’ll do:


  • Maintains primary relationship with manufacturers including correspondence, coordination, and planning.

  • Executes purchasing processes, ensuring alignment with company budget, purchasing strategy, and sourcing plan(s).

  • Negotiates with suppliers and manufacturers to decrease costs and optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Coordinates merchandise flow through the various channels of the supply chain.

  • Maintains inventory levels and balance throughout the network to support production and cross functional business priorities

  • Ensures that items procured meet quality requirements and goods and services are to agreed specifications. Engages and resolves any supplier related issues.

  • Manages KPIs like on time delivery and inventory on hand.

  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, to implement best practices in supply chain management to improve operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for:


  • 2-5 years of experience working as an industrial engineering, supply chain professional, or equivalent professional experience

  • Advanced verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and key external suppliers.

  • Strong written skills to prepare procedures, and reports and be able to convey complex information in a simple, clear, and concise manner

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with Google Workplace or related software

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s Operations technology tools

  • High learning agility to move at a fast pace

  • Willingness to pivot priorities and take on additional responsibilities as required
