CNC Machinist - Full-time

ABR is hiring a Machinist on 2nd Shift in Edgar, WI. The facility has a new expansion and offers a family culture. Great opportunity for candidates looking for advancement within a company and a desire to learn and grow in their position.

Schedule: M-TH 3:30p.m.-2a.m., overtime on Fridays as needed.

Machinist Responsibilities

• Study and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of final products. 
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining. 
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts the machine within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production. 
• Reports all machine malfunctions to Operations Manager. 
• Understanding of production requirements, production scheduling, and reporting.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Job Requirements of the Machinist

• Must have prior programming experience in G-Code and work with machining centers.
• 2 year degree in Machine Tool is preferred. 
• Candidate will be working in a fast paced environment with high production yields. 
• Must be able to work 100% on the floor and have the ability to push, pull, or lift product with forklift or overhead crane. 
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time, and use hands to feel or handle all types of materials. 
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly, and sit, climb, or balance occasionally. 
• Candidate must be able to regularly lift up to 70 pounds. 
• Occasionally exposed to vibration and noise levels are usually high and ear plugs are required.
