We are on the hunt for a seasoned Permanent Director of HR to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who is looking to take their career to the next level. As the Director of HR, you will be instrumental in shaping and fostering our company's culture, driving strategic HR initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of all HR functions. You will be the key figure in promoting employee satisfaction, enhancing productivity, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Nurture a positive working environment.
4. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
5. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
6. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
7. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
8. Lead the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
9. Provide leadership for human resource strategic planning.
10. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
11. Serve as a strategic partner with senior leadership on a variety of HR and strategic issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University with major course work in Human Resources, Management, or related field and ten years of progressive Human Resources leadership; or 15 years of progressive Human Resources leadership.
2. PHR or SPHR, THRP certification preferred.
3. A highly strategic and responsive, service-oriented attitude
4. A strong understanding of compensation programs, benefit programs, employee training & development activities, HR processes & systems
5. Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
6. Ability to establish staff performance goals and increase accountability through effective motivational practices and performance systems
7. Ability to execute/implement concepts, plans, and ideas
8. Ability to proactively implement and sustain HR systems and programs that appropriately address the organization's needs
9. Ability to sustain corporate culture, which supports the organization's values and goals
10. Ability to implement and manage, major change initiatives and instill a sense of urgency
11. Managed the implementation of HRIS systems.
12. Management experience and a demonstrated ability to develop and lead others.
13. High level of organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively.
14. Very strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. Local travel is occasionally required. Travel outside of the state is infrequently required.
16. Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
