$20 an hour.

6 AM to 6 PM Monday-Thursday: 4 day work week!

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient startup, shutdown, cleaning and overall operation of reactors in the plant
  • Startup, shutdown, and monitor reactors as per production scheduling
  • Clean and change out filters for all reactors and surge tanks every 3-6 hour
  • Clean and scrap out reactors when temperatures are out of spec to ensure proper operation.
  • Monitor reactors temperature, feed rate, cooling water temp, and surge bin levels
  • Prepare orders for delivery by filling containers with specified material and amounts?
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures such as safety, cleaning, etc.
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
  • Exposure to hot or cold temperatures
  • Exposure to wet or slippery floors
  • Exposure to chemicals and fumes

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work 4 on 4 off schedule; 12 hours per day
  • Ability to operate and understand computer hardware and software as it relates to the operation and control of this process
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
  • Must be able to stand and walk
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Others - Twist, Bend, Squat, Reach, Push/Pull, Hot/Cold environment
