Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour

Essential J o b Duties

• Resp o nd t o cust o mer inquiries regarding pr o duct selecti o n, placement o f o rders, prices and qu o tati o ns, c o mplaints, and scheduling o f deliveries and ins tallati o ns.
• Initiate teleph o ne calls t o cust o mers t o generate sales .
• O btain o rders fr o m cust o mers and sales representatives; enter w o rk o rder, credit return, return auth o rizati o n, pick ticket, and service request; file paperw o rk acc o rdingly.
• C o o rdinate purchase and delivery o f special pr o ducts. O bta ins inf o rmati o n o n pricing specificati o ns, uses and availability .
• Manage schedules f o r pr o ject by c o o rdinating with o utside sales, j o bsites, and assigned cust o mers .
• Check o n back o rders and res o lve any o utstanding issues ; s o lve billing pr o blems and c o mpile data f o r cl o sing .
• Handles special o rders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists .
• Develo p and gr o w pr o fessi o nal relati o nships with cust o mers .
• Reso lve j o bsite issues and cust o mer pr o blems .
• Co mply with C o mpany's attendance p o licy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance .
• Perfo rm o ther duties as assigned by l o cati o n management.

Kn o wledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum educati o n required - High Sch o o l Dipl o ma o r GED.
• Minimum experience required - 1 year in building material industry with basic kn o wledge o f pr o duct and applicati o n. 1+ years Ins i de S al e s experience preferred.
• Special skills required - Ability t o o perate c o mputer, calculat o r & cash register. Kn o wledge o f building supplies, applicati o ns, related equipment, and/ o r c o nstructi o n industry. G o o d interpers o nal and cust o mer relati o ns skills and excellent o ral and written c o mmunicati o n skills. Sh o uld be familiar with invent o ry and invent o ry c o ntr o l.
• Must be able t o walk thr o ugh o ut yards, plants, and o ffices.
• Physical demands include standing and walking f o r extended peri o ds o f time, bending o r st o o ping, and o ccasi o nally lifting up t o 50 p o unds.
