CNC Machinist

Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a Machinist Operator to join their team. As a Machinist Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, aligning successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Machinist Operator
Location: Clackamas
Pay Range: $22-$28 DOE
Swing 2:30pm-11pm M-F

What’s the Job?

• Set up and perform machining operations on various metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
• Use measuring tools to control machining operations.
• Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Monitor machine operation for malfunctions and make adjustments as needed.

What’s Needed?

• Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Prior machining-related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
