Position: Advanced Markets Consultant
Department: Annuity Marketing
Reporting to: Director of Case Design
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite
Overview:
As a member of the Advanced Markets team, our consultants are driven to be a trusted resource for AE Financial Advisors and internal associates. This position focuses on maintaining insurance carrier/product resource information. As an Advanced Marketing Consultant, you will work with external partners along with internal teams in researching and validating requests from our Advisors. If you are a self-starter with excellent customer service skills, we would love to talk to you!
What you'll do:
  • Collect, update, and maintain annuity carrier information for existing and new carriers
  • Facilitate onboarding process of new insurance carriers/products
  • Respond to incoming Advanced Markets email request and phone calls by providing timely and accurate responses
  • Process service-related issues which include time-sensitive research and problem resolution
  • Stay current on product information and carrier updates by participating as a member of the Product Committee, identifying product gaps and solutions for various Advanced Markets related topics
Experience you'll bring:
  • Experience working in the Financial Services industry
  • Confident, professional, and articulate in verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging in discussions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy while handling multiple responsibilities
Bonus Points:
  • Have or ability to obtain additional credentials/designations/continuing education course work related to all aspects of retirement and income planning
  • Strong understanding of financial advisors and their business model and workflows
