Aerospace Business Unit

Rexnord Aerospace supplies high performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears and electrical components to commercial air transport markets. Our products are engineered to meet stringent requirements and are specified in engine systems, flight control systems, landing gear systems and airframe structures. Our global customer base includes major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers and aircraft operators.

Brief Description

The Planner I position is responsible for the planning and execution of customer order scheduling at Rexnord's Aerospace Division. The primary focus is to align order requirements with operational resources through scheduling and inventory allocation procedures such that customer requirements are met in the most timely and economical manner. This position is responsible for the overall planning and consumption of inventory as it relates to the production plan.

Key Accountabilities

• Meet/Exceed On Time Delivery Shipment Target
• Meet/Exceed On Time Delivery Creation of Firm Planned Orders Target
• Inventory planning
• Capacity and resource scheduling
• Cross functionally reviewing production flow to meet targets
• Evaluating and forecasting material requirements

Capabilities and Success Factors

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a Technical field
• Prefer 0-2 years of experience in an MRP system or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Detail oriented and data driven
• Basic problem solving skills with knowledge of lean methodologies
• ERP system experience is a plus
• Inventory management experience is a plus
• APICS certification is a plus
