CADD Systems Drafter job details include:


Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday


Pay rate: $24 - 27/hr. (Depending on experience)

  • Prepare technical drawings and resolve associated mechanical and fabrication problems
  • May participate in designing special modifications to existing machinery or parts
  • Determine design elements, such as the numbers and kinds of fasteners needed to assemble the machine
  • Perform a modeling, drafting, or Engineering Change Order (ECO) process with minimum errors
  • Prepare drawings showing the detail and method of assembly of a wide variety of machinery and mechanical devices, indicating dimensions, fastening methods, and other requirements
  • Perform cost analysis based on manufacturing capability and design quality
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications: Two years of experience in CADD systems. High school diploma or an Associate's degree in drafting, or the completion of a technical school drafting program or a combination of education and equivalent experience using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems.
